What began in February 2021 as a simple act of selling rice from the boot of a car during the uncertainty of COVID-19 has grown into a bold vision for Kenya's food future. From those humble beginnings, KROM FOODS was born.
Rooted in resilience, fairness, and the belief that every home deserves access to fresh, farm-to-table produce. By 2022, our rice had won the hearts of friends, family, and neighbours, leading us to open our first shop in Thindigua along Kiambu Road.
Today, we are proud to serve over 1,000 Kenyan homes, connecting farmers directly to families and building a transparent, sustainable food ecosystem that empowers producers while nourishing communities.
